Dear Medway Community,
Hello! We are The Sunshine Group, a 6-week summer program dedicated to ensuring children of all abilities are accepted, respected, and celebrated for being exactly who they are. We have been a part of the Medway community since 1968. Our program provides children with and without disabilities a place to socialize, learn, and grow during the summer. We also provide respite care for families who have a child or children with special needs.
While we love including all children, and have worked hard to reduce costs as much as possible, it can be difficult for some families to afford our program. We love to help as many families as we can, however, it is growing more challenging for us as needs have increased due to the pandemic and other economic factors.
We are writing to you, our Medway community, to ask for your help. Our program could benefit greatly from your donations. Donations to The Sunshine Group are tax deductible. If you are able to do so, please consider making a donation to our program. Below are a few donation options:
Suggested Donations (all donors will be listed on our website):
$25 – Sponsor one day of camp for one child
$75 – Sponsor this summer’s field trips for one child
$100 – Sponsor a child for a week of our program (we are open 4 days a week)
$250 – Split the cost! Sponsor a child for half off their tuition for the summer
$500 – Sponsor a child for an entire 6 weeks with us!
$1,000 and up – Sponsor a family for an entire 6 weeks with us!
Want to donate and have free advertising when we go on field trips? Sponsor our shirts!
$400 – Share the space with another local business (or 2)
$800 – Cover the full cost and be the only business advertised on our shirts.

Does your business have supplies that you could donate? Call or Email us to see if your supplies are something we could use!
If you are able to donate, please consider doing so as soon as possible, so that we can let families know that they are sponsored. This will allow families to sign their child(ren) up for week 1! Please send your check made payable to The Sunshine Group to:
