A Little Rain Won’t Stop the Fun!

Unfortunately, today’s weather prevented us from being able to go to the pool. However, we made the most of the wet day with some fun activities to wrap up transportation week.

There were dry options under the tent and inside, but many campers braved the rain and had fun at the field as well.

Next week’s theme is Hollywood week! Our authors will be Chris Van Allsburg, Dr. Seuss and others who have written books that became movies. We will be going to the theater to see Monsters University.

***Please send in this permission slip for next Thursday’s Movie in Bellingham.

Next Friday, at 9:30, we will have our Annual Talent Show before we head to the pool. Parents and families are welcome to join us to see the fabulous talent we have here at camp.

A Great Day at Hopkinton State Park!

Despite the cooler temperatures, everyone had a lot of fun at Hopkinton State Park today!  Some enjoyed spending the whole time in their kayak, while others spent some time swimming.

The water was warmer than the air, so it was lots of fun to swim, but a little bit cold getting out.  Everyone did a great job on the water and seemed to enjoy kayaking.

Tomorrow we will head to the pool.  Hopefully the weather will warm up for us a little bit.

Plans, Trains, and Automobiles

We were busy with our planes, trains, and automobiles today.  We had a fabulous presentation about trains from Joe and an exciting presentation about bikes from Matthew.

Some campers designed their own planes and rocket ships while others played a game in which they learned about countries all around the world.

Tomorrow we head to Hopkinton State Park to set sail on kayaks.  Please remember to send permission slips and to wear camp tshirts.  Please have children dressed in swimsuits tomorrow morning and have them wear shoes that are good for the water (flip flops, water shoes, etc).
