On Friday, The Sunshine Group was happy to have the sun shine on us for a pool day after a rainy week! The rain made for some cold water in the pool, but we still had fun! We swam with our friends, enjoyed the splash pad, and warmed up in the sun before heading back onto the buses.

The Sunshine Group had fun at Oakland Park for part of the day and then went to Ryan’s Family Amusements for bowling! We took turns, cheered on our friends, and knocked down the pins!

Tomorrow it looks like the rain is going to hold off, so we will head to the pool!

Yesterday at The Sunshine Group, the kids were playing in the rain! The rain didn’t stop the fun in the field at the Olympic stations, such as World Cup soccer, water bottle bowling, balloon tennis, weight lifting, track hurdles, hobby horse, and volleyball!

At arts and crafts, the kids were busy making straw pipe instruments, sombreros, trying Scandinavian weaving, and making a Chinese New Year drum.

At pick a project, the kids made gold rush slime, built their own master class boats, and there was a henna tattoo station that they loved, as well as dress-up for around the world pictures, and hieroglyphics were made with modeling clay!
