The weather held out for us today – we didn’t even get a drop of rain! We had a cloudy day at the pond but we had a nice picnic snack with our friends and then went for a swim with our counselors!

Next Up: Week 3 – Science!

We will be going to the Capron Park Zoo for a field trip next week.

Our kids had an absolute blast watching The Super Mario Bros. Movie today with friends and counselors! We had the whole theater to ourselves! For some, it was the first time at the movies. We had a dance party to the song “Peaches” when we got back. We’re so excited for another day of swimming at the pond tomorrow!

Don’t forget to come in already wearing your swimsuit and bring your towel and life jackets! There will also be life jackets at the pond but please send in your child’s floatation devices if they have them (especially for the little ones)!

Happy second day of Character Week! Our kids blew us away with their creativity and imagination. Our Red group used UV beads to make an assortment of jewelry and other creations and made paper Minions before playing with a sprinkler rocket. Orange group went on a pirate treasure hunt, made SpongeBob crafts, and dressed up in costumes. Yellow group acted in Frozen skits, made customizable cards, and made Minecraft blocks as well as attended superhero training camp. Finally, Green group went to a superhero training camp, did character puzzles, and held a character fashion show!

We’re looking forward to seeing a movie together tomorrow!
