It was another hot day today at The Sunshine Group! Everyone got a chance to play in the water, play games in the field, and make some crafts but the highlight of the day was the Sunshine Talent Show!

Who knew we had such talent! There were singers and dancers, gymnasts and magicians, comedians and even Spider-Man and a pirate came to perform! It was an absolutely amazing show!! We loved to see everyone shine!

Tomorrow is our field trip to Sweatt Beach for kayaking! Wear water shoes or old shoes you don’t mind getting wet! (No flipflops please) Also wear bathing suits and pack a towel and a change of clothes!

Don’t forget your blue Sunshine shirt!

Today was a day filled with fun and excitement!

Red Group did tie dye, used the playground and waterslide, then played carnival games and water games to end their day!

Orange Group started with a choice of playground and waterslide. They did frozen t-shirts, rockets, Jenga, and connect 4 in the field. Their crafts were animal masks and pipe cleaner butterflies.

Yellow and Green Groups started their day with carnival rotations! They got a prize for doing all of the activities. During craft they used paint and shaving cream to create their artwork. Lastly, for choice they got to use the waterslide and make boats with soap and pool noodles.

Tomorrow is our annual Sunshine Group Talent Show!
Families are welcomed to join – the show will start at 11:00 am.

Please be sure to send waivers in if your child is kayaking on Friday!

Today we had a mystery guest at Oakland Park named Dennis the Magician!

Every Group played many water games with the heat! In the field we played games like drip drip drop, water tag, and slip and slide. During crafts, we created tie dye, spin art, and playdough. During choice time, we played on the playground, the waterslide, and played basketball. Red group learned how to sing and dance to the macarena!

We had so much fun today and are looking forward to another fantastic Mystery Day tomorrow!
