A Special Summer Program Bringing Smiles to Children Since 1968
What a talented group! We saw so many amazing acts today at our annual talent show! We were mesmerized by magicians, amazed by athletes, dazzled by dancers, and serenaded by singers! There were also kids who showed off their skills (karate, contortionists, artists, comedians, scientists, engineers, and many more!). We’re incredibly proud of each and every one of our performers who took the stage in front of us all. You were shining stars today!

Today in the field the sunshine group enjoyed “Far Out” stations that had challenges such as alien bowling, alien take down, asteroid collecting, moon rock balance, bubble invasion, and space wrap to name a few! In pick a project, we played make your own constellations, model magic aliens, rocket ships and tried a baking soda/ vinegar exploration! In crafts we made pool noodle monsters, sock aliens, chalk galaxies, and mono prints! In preparation for the talent show tomorrow, we also took out our costume bins!
We are very excited for tomorrow’s talent show! Hope to see you there – don’t forget to bring a chair!

Today in field we played parachute games, alien tag, explored with mad scientist glasses, planet hunt, and played in the soapy foam machine. In crafts, we made Tin Foil Asteroids, Yarn Monsters, and Sponge Print Painting. Pick a Project had Vinny the Bubble Man making amazing out of this world bubbles! Along with glove aliens and UFO making.
It was a super fun and cool day – here’s hoping for another one tomorrow!
