WOW! The Sunshine Group enjoyed another fantastic show produced by the Walpole Children’s Theater. We are always impressed by their talented actors! The set and costumes were also wonderful. After the show, we got to meet some of the cast! Thanks to Walpole Children’s Theater for hosting a sensory-friendly show!

Thanks to families for a great week! Next week we are back to our the schedule of field trip on Thursday and pool Friday!

For our trip next week to Southwick’s Zoo, we are extending the day to 1:00pm dismissal at Oakland Park so that we can enjoy more time at Southwicks Zoo! (It is so hard to get through the park without extending the day!) We hope to have parents join us for the trip! If you join us, you will get a fantastic discount of only $15 per ticket, and you could keep your child(ren) after our trip to enjoy the park for the rest of the day! Let us know if you will be joining us and we will add your ticket to our group!

Happy Thursday! We had a great day at the pool! We played catch with water balls, Marco Polo, swam and splashed, built creations, and relaxed in the sun with all our friends!

The Sunshine Group enjoyed beautiful weather for day 2 of Character week!

We had a busy day with many special activities! During arts and crafts, we had princess hair braiding, made forky from Toy Story, made paper lanterns, created graph paper Minecraft designs, and made fancy sunglasses with beads and gems! At “Pick a project” under the tent, we made slime, climbed through a Mission Impossible laser maze, made paper chain slinkys (Toy Story) and put on temporary tattoos! In the field, we learned how to be superheroes! We did Hulk smash, Captain America shield toss, Superman Weight Lifting Batman slingshot, Black Widow soccer kick into the web (net), Aquaman water challenge, Wonder Woman Hula Hoop Lasso and Spider Man obstacle course. As always, we cooled down on the waterslide and played with our friends on the playground!

The Sunshine Group had special visitors today! There was a princess who joined us for arts and crafts and a superhero who taught us how to be superheroes at the superhero training in the field. If you are interested in having special visitors at a party or other event, we recommend Alyssa’s Happily Ever Afters! They are fantastic with our group! They are child-focused, engaging, and jump right into the fun! They have many characters to choose from! Tomorrow we are going swimming and on Friday we will be going to Walpole Children’s Theater!
