The Sunshine Group had a great day in the pool yesterday and we had a blast at Urban Air today! We jumped on trampolines, used balance beams, climbed on climbing walls, explored the obstacle course, navigated the ropes course, and flew through the air on the zipline! The best part was getting to have the place to ourselves so that we could enjoy the time with all of our Sunshine Friends! Thanks for another great week!

Next week we have another schedule change:  Pool Thursday and Walpole Children’s Theater on Friday!

Today was a hot day at Sunshine Group! Lots of fun in the field attempting some animal challenge stations like climbing like a bear on stepping stones, balancing like a flamingo, slithering like a snake, etc. Plus we had water fun with water squirters tag. During Crafts we made own “fire” pits, glue spider webs, sun catchers, and sunshine group mural tree. Pick a project had an arcade with Skee Ball and Mini Golf plus make your own boat and Bug Bingo.

Tomorrow we are off to the Pool! Please send in all belongings LABELED with your child’s name. As a reminder we are unable to put sunscreen on your children so please do so in the morning.

Friday is our field trip to Urban Air! Please be sure to fill out the waivers so that your child is able to join us.

Week 2 is off to a fantastic start! Our theme this week is The Great Outdoors.

In arts and crafts we made s’mores, sensory bags, and created masterpieces with invisible painting. In the field we played drip, drip, drop, animal movement games, and soccer! At pick a project we played mini golf, and made terrariums, flower crowns, and paper tube binoculars! As always, we had an opportunity to cool down on the water slide or the slide! We also had a special visitor – a face painter came!

It is going to be a very hot week! There is a heat advisory! We will continue to make sure kids are drinking water with us, but please help us out by sending your children in hydrated by making sure they are drinking water at home.
