The Sunshine Group had a lot of fun today for day one of science week! In arts and crafts, we made Q-tip skeleton hands, paper plate astronaut helmets, coffee filter planets, and built habitats for animals out of Magna-Tiles.
In pick a project, we made our own marble runs with straws and paper plates, entered a laser maze to get to treasure, used coding robot mice, made cloud dough, and made Lego creations to race down a zipline!
In the field, we played pin the helmet on the astronaut, went through an astronaut obstacle course, explored a sink or float station, and tried potato sack racing!
Towards the end of the day, the Medway Fire Department and the Medway Police Department came to visit! They let us check out their vehicles!
