What an amazing day at the Sunshine Group! Our scientists were mixing and creating so much fun. In the field, the kids played builders and bulldozers, astronaut stepping stones, and stomp rockets! They also played planet ring toss and pin the helmet on the astronaut.
At arts and crafts, kids crafted popsicle scientists, painted with marbles to make a galaxy, and made solar planet templates and salt paintings.
At pick a project, the scientists could be found mixing potions in their lab coats and goggles, as well as using microscopes to explore! They really enjoyed making lava lamps, racing paper airplanes with a launcher, and they had a blast sending their soap boats down a ramp into the pool! There was an exciting show on the basketball court with Coke and Mentos volcanoes that some CITs made. A super fun, sunny, scientific day!
