The dates for the Sunshine Group 2023 summer session will be July 5 – August 11th. Weekly themes and trips will be posted once finalized.

Hello Sunshine Families,

Another summer is in the books! We lucked out with beautiful, sunny weather and survived a heat wave thanks to our water slides! We had so much fun with field activities, arts and crafts, music, and new friendships.

We appreciated your support and flexibility as we made some changes to our swimming schedule due to pool renovations and water quality issues. In the end, we found a fantastic place to swim at Hinkley Pond! As always, the highlights of our summer are our Annual Talent Show in week 5 and our Carnival on the last day of our program. Thanks to all the parents who volunteered to help at the carnival – this support is crucial and allows our carnival to run smoothly!

Thank you for sharing your children with us – we have enjoyed their smiles and laughter and we hope to see you all again next summer! In the meantime, some of the counselors are available to babysit throughout the school year. Use this link to access our 2022 Babysitters list!

Today was our last day of the 2022 summer Sunshine Group session! We had such a wonderful summer with our kids and staff.

For today’s carnival we rented a moonwalk, obstacle course, slip and slide, and a dunk tank. For food we had popcorn, snow cones, and cotton candy. Tina from TC Scoops donated Italian ice which was a huge hit!

It was great to have families join in on the fun. We loved getting to see old staff return as well and meet new families that had never experienced our carnival before. The kids were thrilled with their memory books that staff worked very hard on.

We want to express our gratitude to everyone that makes the Sunshine Group the wonderful place that is it. We hope to see everyone back next summer!!
