To wrap up Community Helpers/Career week, the Sunshine Group took a field trip to the Children’s Theater in Walpole where we saw “Pirate’s Treasure.” Kids and counselors alike loved the venue. The child actors and actresses were amazing! We were so happy with the wonderful show they put on for us. The staff was super accommodating too.

We hope everyone had another fun week. We look forward to Science Week!

The Sunshine Group had another amazing day at Hinkley Pond! We arrived earlier than last time so the kids and counselors had time to explore the sand and playground! We ate snack before heading into the water which was very refreshing!

Tomorrow we are going to the Children’s Theater in Walpole.

Oakland Park was not Oakland Park today. It was transformed into Sunshine Town!

Our Yellow and Green Groups helped set up stations and activities for the town. Some of them ran the stations too! We had food (pizza, tacos, ice cream) and we had stores (a clothing store, grocery store, and toy store). Kids were able to get their hair, nails, and tattoos done at our salon and they also had the opportunity to dig up dinosaurs in our fossil station and fly airplanes at our airport!

We hope everyone enjoyed the town as much as we did 🙂

Tomorrow we will be swimming at Hinkley Pond in Medfield.
