It was a warm day, but we had lots of fun activities to keep us cool.  We had lots of water play options and plenty of shade.  We had a very interesting presentation from three musicians who taught us about guitars and drums and how the sound works.  They played some great music for us and we even had a dance party!  Campers had the chance to design costumes for themselves and for their counselors and then showed them off at a fashion show!

Tomorrow we head to the movies and everyone is getting excited for a fun experience. Please remember to send in permission slips.  Tomorrow we will get back to camp at about 12:30 so the bus route home will only be delayed by about 30 minutes from its normal time.

This week is always a fan favorite here at camp: The Week of Fame!

The stars are shining, the talents are showing, and the smiles are miles wide.  Everyone is having a blast making musical instruments, designing clothes for when they are famous, and putting their mark on the Sunshine Walk of Fame.  Many of our stars took a stroll down the red carpet this morning and the paparazzi was there to greet them and cheer them on!  Behind the scenes or in front of the camera…everyone has a role during the Week of Fame!

On Thursday we head to the movies.  Please remember to send in permission slips!

It was a beautiful morning at the pool!  The water was refreshing and everyone had a great time.  There were laughs and smiles all around the pool!  There were games of Marco Polo and tag, people pretending to be fish, and others just enjoying a refreshing dip!

Next week’s theme is Week of Fame and the stars will shine!  On Thursday, we will head to the movies to see The Minions.  Please send permissions slips!  Movie Theater Permission Slip
