Double the Fun!

Happy Thursday! Today the Sunshine Group had double the fun by having time at the park and going on a field trip in the same day! Red and Yellow groups started off the day with bowling, where they had a blast. Orange and Green groups stayed at the gazebo to make some beautiful crafts and interact with bunnies, baby goats, and ducklings to name a few at the petting zoo available for us today. Halfway throughout the day, the groups switched places! The kids loved meeting and playing with the animals and had an amazing time bowling.

We are so excited for swimming tomorrow!

See you in the morning,

Sunshine’s Got Talent!

Wow! Our kids blew us away with their incredible talents! There was music, jokes, sports, and other gifts at our talent show today. We were so happy and proud to see them shine!

Before our talent show, Red group started off the day with bracelet making, playing Simon Says, and doing chalk obstacle courses. Orange group made sculptures with play-dough, practiced their talents, and played on the playground. Yellow group went on an impressive bug hunt and caught ants, made pompom animals and pet rocks, and practiced for the talent show. Green group played a series of minute-to-win-it games before making designs with Perler beads and sculptures with model magic, playing basketball, and practicing for the talent show. We had a wonderful day today and we’re looking forward to a fun field trip tomorrow!

We will be bowling for the 1st half of the day and at the park for the 2nd part of the day, so please wear bathing suits!

Don’t forget your socks and shoes for bowling tomorrow!

See you tomorrow!

A Magical Day at The Sunshine Group!

Our first day of Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Week was a success! Everyone watched a magic show performed by Matt Roberts, which left kids in awe. Red group made mosaics and hula skirts, played stack-the-cups, and practiced for the talent show tomorrow. Orange group wrapped each other as mummies during minute-to-win-it field games, made bracelets, and guessed which mystery objects were in paper bags. Yellow group raced in potato sacks during minute-to-win-it, made paper chains, and made sculptures with model magic. Green group played keep-it-up on the field, made designs with Perler beads, competed in basketball, and went on the waterslide.

We’re all super excited for our kids to showcase their talents at our annual talent show tomorrow! Families are invited to come and watch your kids shine!

See you tomorrow at 11:00am for the Talent Show!
