And Away We Go!

A little rain will not stop the fun here at Camp Sunshine!  International Travel Week is up and running and everyone is having a blast (even if we are dripping wet).  Today, we had some prep work to get ready for tomorrow.  Everyone worked to make a passport so they will be ready to travel all over the world tomorrow!  Some campers were also busy designing flags for countries they know or countries they created themselves!  Tomorrow, campers will be traveling through the airport to fly with Sunshine Airlines to countries such as Poland, China, Spain, and more.  It should be an awesome experience!

Please remember to send in permission slips and waivers for our field trip on Thursday!

Annual Carnival starts at 9:30 am on Friday!  We are still looking for volunteers!

Final Fabulous Friday at the Pool

Today was our final day at the pool and even though the water was a bit cold, everyone had lots and lots of fun splashing and playing in the water.  Next week’s theme is International Travel and we will be learning lots of new things.

On Thursday, we will head to Hopkinton State Park for kayaking and swimming. Like this week, we need a permission slip and waiver for everyone.

*Friday, August 14th will be our Annual Carnival.
The fun starts at 9:30am.  We are looking for parent volunteers to help run stations such as cotton candy, bouncy houses, sno-cones, dunk tank, popcorn, and more.
Please let us know if you are available to help!! (campsunshinegroup@gmail.com).

**Finally, for our returning campers, we hope that you enjoyed the Sunshine Slideshow you received in the mail.  New campers, ask your new friends about the slideshow!  This year’s memories will be captured once again and will be available for purchase next Friday (8/14).  Please let us know if you would like to purchase one ($5).

The Fun Never Stops at One Stop!

Everyone had a blast at One Stop Fun today!  We climbed through tunnels, jumped in ball pits, went down slides, bounced on trampolines, balanced on beams, and then cooled off in the pool.  We lucked out weather wise and we had a beautiful day for swimming and a long bus ride.  Tomorrow, we swim again (our last trip to the pool).

Next week, on Friday, we will have our annual carnival.  More details will be posted tomorrow.

Next week’s theme, to finish off an amazing summer, will be International Travel!
