The Sunshine Group had a great day of bowling at Ryan Family Amusement!

We had the whole place to ourselves and made the most of our day! We returned to Oakland Park for snack time and a choice activity of either playground, soccer or fun on the basketball court!

Reminder tomorrow is a pool day, so please come in bathing suits ready to swim!

Today at the Sunshine Group, we had an awesome second day of Animal Week! We sang a song in morning circle about magenta flamingos and all separated into our groups for a fun day of activities!

The Orange group started their day with crafts, where we made a grocery bag safari vest, which we used later in the day when we went on a safari hike around the woods of Oakland Park. We also made paper chain link snakes! We did animal pose yoga and giant connect 4 during field time, and had fun on the slip ‘n slide and playground during choice time.

Red group painted animals and made jellyfish and bumble bees during craft. They played on the playground and slip n slide during choice time. During their time in field they played a fun game of Hungry Hungry Hippos!

Yellow/green group played Night at the Zoo, Fishy fishy and Barnyard Eggs during field time. They went on an African Safari hunt around Oakland Park for some really cool animals! During craft they made swimming jellyfish with magnets and paper chain snakes

We had an awesome second day of camp today! We saw friends that we made yesterday and kept getting to know our groups better!

Red group had lots of fun splishing and splashing on the waterslide and slip ‘n slide, played Fishy Fishy Cross my Ocean, Duck Duck Goose, and a new board game called Sharkbite. We made friendship bracelets and puppets.

Orange group made friendship bracelets with beads and made handprint Hi-5s. We played on the slip ‘n slide and waterslide during our choice time. During field time we played Night at the Museum, soccer and paddle boards.

Yellow and Green group played Island to Island and sponge relay in the field, showcasing some amazing teamwork. During arts & crafts we made handprint Hi-5s to learn more about one another and we made friendship bracelets/keychains with beads and gimp. During choice we played with Legos and on the slip ‘n slide.
