We Started Our Week of Travel Today!

Our theme this week is “Ways to Get from One Place to Another” and the campers had some wonderful ideas this morning of ways to travel including planes, helicopters, trains, swimming, walking, riding horses, and many more! At arts & crafts campers had the chance to make their own passports, design tickets to get through the airport, and make cars for traveling like the Flinstones! Thank you to Officer MacNeil for showing us his police car today! This week’s field trip is to the Ecotarium where we will get to go on a train ride! Please remember to send in permission slips!

**Tomorrow we will be taking a special trip to the Medway Highway Department to see the different vehicles they use in the town. The bus will take us over there at 10:30 and we will be back before 12:00.

***Also, a reminder that slideshows are available for purchase. Each year, we create a video that shows all the fun we have during the summer through pictures, videos, and music.

We Made Lots of Noise, Enjoyed a Movie, and Performed Like Superstars!

Next week our theme is WAYS TO GET FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER. We’ll be traveling from one country to another, packing out suitcases, stamping our passports, and deciding which means of transportation is the best way to get there. Our field trip will be to the Ecotarium in Worcester, which will conclude with a train ride around the museum.

LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS

A “carnival coordinator” is needed for the last day of camp. We’ll have several stations – popcorn machine, snowcone, cotton candy, dunk tank, bouncy castles, a slip and slide, and TC Scoops will be providing ice cream for us. We need parents to help man those stations.

Please let Barbara know if you can help!  You can contact her by email: Ohanian6@yahoo.com
