Today at the Sunshine Group we had a fun and sunny day! The theme was Sun-Sational Seasons. The kids were playing through the seasons – in the field there was a snow shovel race, a snowball toss, and charades! The bubble foam machine was making “snow” while the kids went on a candy cane scavenger hunt!
Over at arts and crafts, the kids made a seasonal mural, tree dot art, butterfly symmetry paintings, and pipe cleaner bead art!
At pick a project, the kids had fun camping and digging in the sensory snow to find arctic animals. They loved making pony bead key chains and bird’s nests, and they studied dissected flowers and turned them into art!
