We had another fabulous day at the Sunshine Group!

In the field, we had Animal Stations and played Fishy Fishy and hot potato!

Crafts were Safari Hats, Jungle Crowns, making pet rocks, and Foam Animal Masks.

The students had a choice between playground and waterslide.

In the Pick a Project, kids participated in a Blubber Experiment, made Animal Kites, played Floor is Lava, and completed a Scavenger Hunt with the CITs.

It was a hot one today for our first day of week 2! We made sure to cool down and use the shade as much as possible while we were having a lot of fun with all the animal-themed activities! It was a busy, busy day!

During arts and crafts, we made a Sunshine Group poster out of handprints, made pipe cleaner snakes, or chose an activity at the coloring table (animal sort, animal mazes).

In the field, we played octopus tag, hungry hungry hippos, or played predator vs. prey.

At pick a project, we made slime, saved animals from frozen ice cubes, and went for a big hunt with special nets and bug collection jars. There were also animal puzzle challenges!

During choice time we cooled down on the slide, went on the playground, or played on our giant slip and slide.

Special activities included digging for animals in the sand box and a scavenger hunt for animal facts. We also had a face painting artist visit!

Hello Sunshine families!

What a great end to week 1: Fun in the Sun! On Friday, we had a beautiful day for swimming at Hinkley Pond. We splashed, floated in life jackets, played catch, and had an amazing time with counselors and friends. Some of us found tadpoles and there were some amazing sand castles built on the beach!
