Week 2 – Green Week!

Although this week is all about water, rain, how it is good for plants… we were so happy to see it stop for all of our activities!!

We made an aquarium, planted grass seed, made bird feeders with recycled items, played a recycling relay, and learned all about our precious planet.

Our mini-sessions continued with Taekwondo, dance and yoga. Thanks Danny, Anna, Shannon, and Johanna!

**TOMORROW we will walk over to Saddle Rowe Horse Farm to see the horses, learn about their care and feeding, and maybe pet a pony or two!

A Perfect Day for Swimming!

Swimming was a big hit with all of the campers today!  It was a little chilly at first, but once they were in, they all had a blast!  There was time for a break from swimming when we had a picnic on the grass at snack time.  However, many campers were so excited to get back into the pool and it seemed easier to adjust to the temperature the second time around.

Next week, our theme is Green Week, so we will be talking about nature, animals, recycling, ways to protect the planet, and much more!

Our field trip will be to the New England Aquarium.  This is an extended day with our return time scheduled for 2pm.
