Today was a great first day of Circus Week! There were so many activities planned for this new and exciting week!
The Red Group played on the playground and in the sandbox. They also played clown kickball in the field. For arts and crafts, they made puffy paint, built with Legos and played with the marble run! The Red group would love for red group to wear their yellow sunshine group shirts this week for the talent show for a special surprise!
Orange Group had a busy day! For arts and crafts, they made paper bag puppets, circus animal masks and ribbons to practice some ribbon twirling routines! In the field, orange group had relay races and played night at the museum.
Today Yellow Group had tons of fun with the circus theme! They played capture the clown and tried out a hula hoop challenge. They also made Dumbo ears and circus animal puppets. They also spent time practicing for the talent show!
Green Group enjoyed the new theme and had fun spending time with yellow group playing capture the clown and the hula hoop challenge. For arts and crafts, Green Group made circus tents, paper plate animals and played ladder ball and built things with Legos.

Talent Show
The Talent Show will be held this Thursday at 10:45 and will go till dismissal. There will be time for your child to practice their routines on Wednesday and on Thursday morning, but they should also practice at home!
** Children in the Red Group (ages 2-4) should wear their yellow Sunshine Group Shirts to the talent show for a special surprise!
Carnival
Please join us for the end of year carnival! It is a wonderful day for the family – families are welcome and encouraged to attend! The annual end of year Carnival will start at 9:30 and end at 12:00. There will be photos taken by Tim Rice for an end of year slideshow that will be posted to the blog, as well as carnival activities including a dunk tank, bouncy houses and a water slide into a pool! **Make sure to wear a bathing suit and bring a change of clothes! For treats we will have popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones and ice cream from T C Scoops – it is going to be a fabulous way to end the year!
