Today, the Sunshine Group went to the Walpole Children’s Theater to see Puss in Boots! The actors were phenomenal as usual and put on an amazing show. After the show, the cast did a meet-and-greet, giving us a chance to meet and talk to the actors. We are already looking forward to coming back next summer!

Next week, we will have our talent show on Wednesday! The estimated start time is 11:00am but we will let you know if we will need to start any earlier. Families are welcome to join us to watch the show!

Also next week, we are unable to go kayaking. We will be going bowling at Ryan Family Amusements. Since it’s right down the street we will send 1/2 of the students at a time and the rest of the time we will be at Oakland park playing on the slides and doing other program activities! Thanks for your flexibility!

The Sunshine Group had beautiful weather for the pond this week! We splashed in the water, played in the sand, and had a blast together with all of our friends and counselors!

Talk about creations! During our pick a project time, the CITs and some Green group members helped make and create our Sunshine Town. Kids were able to visit various “shops” like an airport, comic book shop, tattoo parlor, theater, pet rock shop, ice cream store, and a jewelry store. Kids could earn tickets and trade them in at the toy shop for toys to bring home!

All of the groups had a great time exploring, engaging in free play, and creating today.

Tomorrow we are going swimming to accommodate for our field trip on Friday this week. Please remember to come in swim clothes tomorrow and put on sunscreen before heading to our program.
