Hello Sunshine Families,

We hope you are enjoying your summer and that our activities are providing some new ideas for you to try at home! Please consider taking our very short Sunshine Online Survey so that we can determine how many families are participating and which parts of the program you are enjoying. Thank you for your time and feedback!

The theme for week 3 is Community Helpers! Activities will be based on the amazing people who keep us safe and do very important jobs in our community! You can access the slideshows containing daily activities from our Virtual Programming Calendar.

If you haven’t joined our private Facebook group, you can do so to interact with us, complete the weekly Facebook challenge, share your activities and see what projects other children are working on! Our hope with the Facebook group is to increase the interactivity of our virtual programming. Of course, joining the group is completely voluntary, but we have taken measures to ensure that it is a private group (only sunshine families can join). In addition to screening members of the group, we are moderating the posts to ensure that content matches our high standards of accepting, respecting and celebrating each individual.

Hello Sunshine Families!

We are excited to share with you our first week of virtual programming! Although we cannot be together this summer, our hope is that we can continue to support you by providing activities and games for your child to enjoy.

Each week, we will be posting a new set of themed activities in our Virtual Programming Calendar. You can use this document all summer to access our weekly slideshows that will include daily morning meeting videos, read-alouds, jokes, games, crafts and activities so that your children can participate in our weekly themes! There will also be virtual field trips for each week.

If you would like to interact more with us and with other members of the sunshine family, you can join our Private Facebook Group to share your work with us and connect with others! Joining the group is completely voluntary, and we will be screening the members for this group to ensure that it is only sunshine families who can join.
