Week 6, Day 3: A Perfect Day at Hopkinton State Park!

Today we went on our last field trip and it was a blast! The sun was shining, the water was refreshing, and the smiles were ear to ear. Many of the kids headed out in kayaks and others headed to the beach for swimming. Even the ones in the kayaks took some breaks on the islands to do a little swimming. It is hard to believe that tomorrow is the last day for us this summer. It went by so fast but it was yet another amazing summer!

We hope that families will join us tomorrow for our annual Carnival! It will be a great way to put the final stamp on the summer of 2016!

Week 6, Day 2: Around the World in a Day!

We all became world travelers today as we crossed continents and oceans to visit countries such as Italy, Antarctica, Spain, Ukraine, and more! Kids learned to salsa in Spain, speak a new language in Italy, and some fun facts in France. Be sure to ask your children about their travels today!

Tomorrow we head to Hopkinton State Park for swimming and kayaking. Please remember to send permission slips and waiver forms and also remember orange shirts and swimming attire!

Friday will be our Annual Carnival, which is always a big hit!

Families are welcome to join us!

Week 6, Day 1: Passports Ready for Transportation Week

Today began our week of transportation. Kids worked to design their own passports for our travels tomorrow. Some groups made airplanes, while other groups worked to get ready for our big country fair tomorrow with trains, planes, and more. Some groups played games that had them working together to find the different states in our country and other groups were pretending to be part of the Olympics with countries competing in various games.

Tomorrow, as mentioned, is our big country fair where kids will travel through the Sunshine airport to visit places such as England, France, Australia, Argentina, and more! Be sure to ask them what they are learning this week!

Please remember permission slips and waiver forms for this week’s field trip.  Don’t forget orange shirts on Thursday (but with bathing suits underneath!).
